Coaching for Peak Performance
Anyone can presume to be a coach. Anyone can initiate conversations with their co-workers, even if they have only the vaguest idea of what they are trying to achieve without any clearly articulated understanding of how to conduct the coaching conversation. The results of such conversations will be random and unequal.
Coaching training should remove, as much as possible, the element of chance from coaching conversations. For this to happen, coaching training must equip participants with a clear picture of just what a superior coaching conversation is and give them the critical skills required to conduct a superior coaching conversation.
Coaching is too important to be used without serious preparation and skill development because it carries so much potential to help individuals and teams achieve superior performance.
Participants will learn: Why coaching is an important leadership role The meaning of superior coaching The superior coaching model Key values and essential characteristics Critical skills needed for success The core coaching conversation What superior coaches believe Communicating respect
Designed for: Executives, managers, supervisors
